Description

To get a VAT number a company is required to have real business activities in Latvia. If the board member of the company is a non-resident, then tax office might perform an extra background check.

Included in the price:

  • Filling out the application for your company information
  • Up to two hours of accountant´s time for an appointment in tax office
  • Submitting the application to SRS
  • After the positive decision, the company will be registered on the register of VAT Taxable Persons.

    • The State Revenue Service (SRS) makes the decision about issuing VAT number in 15 working days after receiving the application.

    NB! Please note that as a VAT payer you are required to submit monthly declarations even if your company has no activities during that period.

    In order to get the VAT number, it is required for the board member to visit SRS in person, submit the documents electronically or to authorize iCompany representative to act on their behalf for extra fee.
